Jean PEETERS, Member
Jean Peeters is the holder of the Chair. He is Professor at the Université Bretagne Sud (Lorient and Vannes), where he was President from 2012 to 2020. A Gendarmerie citizen reservist, he is a graduate auditor of the 1era national session on «Digital Sovereignty and Cybersecurity» at IHEDN and IHEMI (2018-2019). He also heads up the CyberSkills4All project funded by the ANR as part of France 2030, which aims to create new cybersecurity training courses in Brittany. He is also leading the European Erasmus Mundus master's programme in cybersecurity, CYBERUS.
Vincent GIRAUD, Researcher
Vincent Giraud is a computer science researcher specialising in security. With a doctorate from the École normale supérieure (Paris) and an engineering degree from INSA Rennes, he has worked in particular on trust in consumer systems and the security of execution environments and cryptographic implementations. He has worked with both public (ANSSI, Inria, etc.) and private (Ingenico, STMicroelectronics, etc.) players, and is involved in a number of teaching assignments.
Esther NOËL, Researcher
Esther Noël is a researcher in international law. She has a PhD from Université Paris Cité, where she also teaches, and her thesis focused on State sovereignty in the digital age. She also holds a Master's degree in international relations and European Union law from the University of Paris Nanterre.
Yanis MESTRIES, Research Assistant
Yanis Mestries is a student in . He has joined the Chair as an apprentice for the academic year 2025-2026. His work focuses mainly on studying and analysing the cybersecurity policies of the various European players, as well as taking stock of joint initiatives and international collaborations.

The aim of the Chair is to work in partnership with researchers who make occasional contributions to its work.
Ludovic PERRET, Associate Researcher
Ludovic Perret is a professor at EPITA (France) and an associate member of LIP6 at Sorbonne University. He specialises in the design, security analysis and deployment of post-quantum cryptography, and has over 100 publications on these subjects. He was awarded the first Atos & Joseph Fourier Prize in the field of quantum technologies 2018 and was ranked among the 100 most influential French innovators by Le Point magazine in 2022. He is also an auditor for the IHEDN's 5th National Session on «Digital Sovereignty and Cybersecurity» (SNC) (2022-2023) and is developing activities on the impact of quantum on cybersecurity within the Chair.
