ECW 2022: Elouan Buisson takes part in European Cyber Week (Rennes, 16 November 2022)

Elouan Buisson, doctoral student at the Chair, was presented during the Cyber Innovations and Strategies day«, organised on 16 November as part of the 7th edition of the’European Cyber Week. He took part in the round table «How to ensure confidence in the security of the software chain».» and spoke about the legal aspects at the heart of his work at the Chair.

This day, comprising several round tables, was devoted to the theme of «Building cyber-confidence to guarantee sovereignty».

The subject was tackled from a number of angles, including that of the issues raised by the’open source.

Elouan Buisson took part in the round table discussion on the software chain security, hosted by Laurent David (Thales), alongside Ludovic Eschard (Orange France), Régis Quentin (Thales) and Stefano Zacchiroli (Télécom Paris).

It emerged from the discussions that the large number of players involved makes it difficult to identify the origin of the tool used and its components.

For the legal aspects, The security of the software chain, a subject studied by Elouan Buisson as part of his thesis at the Chair, highlights the question of the factors likely to influence the effectiveness of the contractual clauses used to structure this supply chain.
