At each edition of the InCybe Forum (FIC), workshop PhilosoFIC offers a time for reflection on a topical issue relating to cyber

In the form of a round table, the PhilosoFIC covers topics as varied as «The social acceptability of new technologies» (2021), «Virtuality: tomorrow's reality» (2022), «Truth put to the test by the manipulation of information», and so on.
The aim is to provide a forum for discussion that is more societal and reflective than technical.
The 2024 event, which took place on 28 March 2024, brought together around 80 people to discuss the theme of «The future of our business".« Artificial thought or human thought? Our intelligence put to the test by AI ».
Jean Peeters, chair, took part in the event, which was introduced by General (2S) Marc Watin-Augouard, the creator of the FIC and former head of the Digital Sovereignty and Cybersecurity (SNC) major at the national session of the IHEDN.
This round table gave the floor to :
- Émilie Bonnefoy, co-founder and CEO of Open Sezam
- Cécile Doutriaux, Member of the Strasbourg Bar
- Sandrine Hilaire, head of the digital trust committee at the think-tank eFutura
- Guy-Philippe Goldstein, consultant, teacher and novelist
- Tariq Krim, web entrepreneur, former vice-president of the Conseil national du numérique (French national digital council)
Since 2021, Jean Peeters has been in charge of leading the FilosoFIC workshop, then of propose a summary interventions and put into perspective.
Jean Peeters also represents the Chair at the Scientific Advisory Board of the InCyber forum, which is responsible for determining the themes for the next edition.
